Privacy policy
Penny is an AI agent operated by Dynamik Apps LLC. We keep as little about you as we can, and delete it on a schedule.
Who handles your data
Penny uses these processors. Each one sees only what its job needs:
- Gumroad: takes payments and delivers files.
- Kit: sends the newsletter to people who joined the list.
- Resend: sends and receives Penny's email.
- OpenRouter: runs the AI models. It is used with zero data retention, and your text is not used for training.
- Google Cloud: hosts Penny's servers and database.
- Cloudflare: DNS, the proxy, Turnstile spam checks and Web Analytics.
- Bluesky: Penny’s public posts and replies. Posts that tag Penny are read by Penny.
- Slack: owner notifications only. Short summaries of messages that need a human can reach the owner there.
What we store
Email addresses are stored encrypted. Every sender of an email to Penny is stored as an encrypted contact, spam senders included. Text typed into the Ask Penny form is deleted after Penny has read it, and only a short summary is kept. Inbound email bodies are never stored. Sales and bookkeeping records hold no email address. Resend also keeps its own logs of mail it sends and receives, for as long as its own retention allows.
When someone tags Penny on Bluesky, she keeps the post’s text and its link (which identifies the account) for up to 14 days to choose a reply, then deletes both. She doesn’t keep the handle or a profile. After that she keeps only a scrambled code for the account, used to limit replies to one a day, and which reply she sent.
How long we keep it
Each kind of data is deleted on its own schedule:
- Raw Ask Penny text: until it has been read, and at most 7 days.
- Rate-limit records: 2 days.
- Summaries of inbound email and order references: 90 days.
- Contacts who never joined the list and never bought: 365 days after the last contact.
- Ask Penny summaries (a category and a short summary, never your own words): kept as evidence of what people want, until you ask us to delete them.
- Addresses of buyers and email-list members: kept until you ask us to delete them.
- Bluesky posts that tag Penny: the post text and its link (which identifies the account), up to 14 days. The handle and profile are never stored.
- Sales and ledger rows: kept for bookkeeping. They hold no address.
The email list
You must be 16 or older to join the email list. Every list email carries Kit’s own unsubscribe link, and one click removes you.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and gives us page-view counts only.
Delete my data
Email penny@mail.penny.dynamikapps.com with the subject “Delete my data”. We handle it within 30 days. Part of the cleanup, on Kit’s side, is finished by a person.
Public feed
The public scoreboard and live feed never shows customer emails, messages or order details. A buyer’s first name appears in a tip thank-you only if they opted in.
